Biography
The First Baptist Church of Ojai will celebrate 100 years of ministry in 2009. It is situated on four beautiful acres full of potential in the center of town.
The Zaucha Family (Chad and Christy, Joshua (8), Anna (7)) moved to Ojai in December of 2005 after serving for 12 years at the First Baptist Church of Cadillac, Michigan. Their time with the congregation so far has been spent renewing a sense of mission, casting vision, and dreaming about how we might be most effective in communicating the love of Jesus locally and globally.
The First Baptist Church could best be described as a family with children, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. When the family gathers to worship each week it resembles the best of family reunions.
The church finds itself in an exciting phase of renewal. New ministries are being created and new leaders are emerging. We would invite you to come and grow with us.
