Sports Update

The First Baptist basketball team wrapped up play  on Monday night by taking second place in the Ojai Rec Dept. church league.  It was a great season that was even more special because it was our church's first entry into the league in quite some time.  Our team was unique in the league in that we played as many as four girls.  They did awesome. 

The First Baptist co-ed softball team continues to struggle on the scoreboard but excel in having fun.  Come on out to play or watch on Tuesday nights at 6:30 and 7:40 at Sarzotti.

Another sign of church growth and progress is that we are actually able to field a basketball team in the church league.  The remarkable thing is that we actually won.  But the best part is that we totally had a blast.  I look forward to more in the weeks to come.
