I met this morning with Danielle Sloneker who is the area Young Life director. Young life is a para-church organization whose mission is to reach lost Sr. High Youth with the Gospel and to connect them with area churches. Christy and I had many friends associated with Young Life in Michigan. It is a quality organization. I am excited about the possibilities of our church partnering with Young Life. I think that Young Life could be the point of connection by which area churches work in harmony toward reaching our community with the Gospel. I am not quite sure what it will look like, but I am quite hopeful about the possibilities.

Youth Ministry Survey
The slate is blank. The possibilities are limitless. Help us create a world class youth ministry. Last Sunday we included a survey in the bulletin that asked these questions:
1. What is the best time and day for youth ministry?
2. Where is the best place for youth ministry?
3. Which should be the first priority: Evangelism or Discipleship?
4. What would an effective youth ministry look like?
We will include these surveys again this week. A meeting of everyone interested in launching this ministry will take place in the near future. Help us create something special.
